Andre Leask, the sole practitioner of the practice, previously practised for his own account in Johannesburg as an attorney, notary and conveyancer for four years until moving abroad to the UK in October 1998 for a period of six years. Andre Leask has now returned to South Africa and in October 2005 re-established his firm. The firm specializes in conveyancing, corporate-commercial and information technology matters.

Andre Leask graduated with a B Comm LLB from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1991 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1993. In addition, he enjoys rights of appearance in the High Courts of South Africa. Andre was admitted as a Conveyancer in 1995 and as a Notary Public in the following year. Andre specialises in advising clients on conveyancing, corporate-commercial and information technology matters and is currently in the process of completing an LLM in Computers and Communications Law, University of London. Andre also has experience in advising on matters involving English law, having been admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2000 and having practised for six years as a Legal Adviser and Solicitor in London, including advising clients in the financial services sector in his capacity as a legal adviser for Morgan Stanley in London. Andre’s personal interests include sports, health, fitness, information law and technology.
